Titans Season Preview
The Rebuild Begins — Saleh, Daboll, and Ward Year 2
2025 Season Recap
The Titans bottomed out in 2025, leading to a complete organizational reset. Ownership hired Robert Saleh as head coach and Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator to accelerate the development of franchise quarterback Cam Ward.
🏟️ Nissan Stadium
The 2026 season will be the final season at the current Nissan Stadium. Tennessee will move into the new enclosed Nissan Stadium in 2027, marking a new era for the franchise.
🧠 Coaching Staff
Tennessee made two of the offseason's biggest hires — Robert Saleh brings defensive credibility and leadership, while Brian Daboll brings a proven offensive mind to develop Cam Ward and maximize Tennessee's young talent.
📊 2025 Team Snapshot
Offense
Rookie QB Cam Ward endured a difficult season behind an inconsistent offense. His 11 fumbles highlight the need for improved ball security. Tony Pollard remained the featured running back.
Defense
The defense still featured several productive veterans, anchored by Jeffery Simmons up front and Cedric Gray at linebacker.
Cam Ward — Year 2 Development
Ward's rookie season was a learning experience behind a struggling offensive line. With Brian Daboll now calling plays and new weapons in place, the expectation is a significant leap in Year 2.
Rushing Attack
Pollard remained the featured back in 2025. The addition of Nick Singletonvia the draft gives Tennessee a young, powerful complement.
Receiving Corps — Rebuilt
Tennessee addressed its lack of playmakers by adding Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency and drafting Carnell Tate — giving Cam Ward legitimate weapons heading into Year 2.
Defensive Leaders
Sacks / Pass Rush
Tackles / Interceptions
Jeffery Simmons remains the heart of this defense — 11.0 sacks, 17 tackles for loss, and 21 quarterback hits. He's one of the NFL's most disruptive interior linemen.

🧬 S³ Analysis
The Titans attacked nearly every weakness this offseason.
Offensively, Brian Daboll now has more weapons for Cam Ward with the additions of Wan'Dale Robinson, Carnell Tate, and Nick Singleton. If Ward cuts down on turnovers, Tennessee's offense should make a significant jump.
Defensively, Robert Saleh inherits one of the league's better defensive fronts led by Jeffery Simmons. Adding John Franklin-Myers, Alontae Taylor, and Cor'Dale Flott gives Tennessee more depth and versatility.
The biggest question remains whether the offensive line can consistently protect Cam Ward and whether the young receiving corps develops quickly enough.

🏆 S³ Outlook
The Titans should be far more competitive than their 3–14 record from last season suggests. While they may still be a year away from playoff contention, Tennessee has laid a strong foundation under Robert Saleh and appears to be trending in the right direction.
S³ Identity
🏆 A rebuilding team with elite defensive line talent, a major coaching upgrade, and a young quarterback poised to take a significant step forward in Year 2.
