S³ Team Breakdown

Quarterback

Kyler Murray remains the franchise quarterback. His mobility gives Arizona a chance every week, but he'll need more consistency and better protection to return to Pro Bowl form.

Running Backs

Jeremiyah Love adds explosive speed while Tyler Allgeier provides physical depth. This backfield should be significantly better than last season.

Wide Receivers

Marvin Harrison Jr. headlines the room, while Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne provide complementary production. Arizona needs Harrison to become a true No. 1 receiver.

Tight Ends

Trey McBride is one of the NFL's best tight ends and remains Murray's most reliable target.

Offensive Line

Isaac Seumalo strengthens the interior, but the unit still has to prove it can consistently protect the quarterback.

S³ Defensive Breakdown

Defensive Line

Josh Sweat improves the pass rush, while Calais Campbell brings veteran leadership. More interior disruption is still needed.

Linebackers

Nick Rallis gets the most out of this group, but talent remains average.

Secondary

Budda Baker continues to lead the defense. The young corners have upside but need greater consistency.

Arizona has promising young talent but is still building toward becoming a playoff contender.

⚡ S³ X-Factor
RB Jeremiyah Love

If Love produces immediately, Arizona's offense becomes much more balanced and takes pressure off Kyler Murray.

❌ Biggest Concern

The Cardinals finished 3–14 in 2025 with a defense that allowed far too many explosive plays. Even with several additions, the roster still lacks the overall depth to compete with the NFC West's top teams over a 17-game season.

NFC West Outlook

San Francisco 49ers

Los Angeles Rams
Competitive, QB-dependent
Seattle Seahawks
Rebuilding, 6–8 wins projected
★Arizona Cardinals
Developing, 5–12 projected

📊 S³ 2026 Prediction

S³ Projected Record
5–12
Division Finish
4th NFC West

Why 5–12?

  • • Young roster still developing.
  • • Improved offense, but defensive depth remains a concern.
  • • Extremely competitive division.

S³ Final Verdict

Arizona is headed in the right direction. The Cardinals should be more competitive than they were a year ago, but this still looks like another developmental season. If Kyler Murray stays healthy and Jeremiyah Love makes an immediate impact, they could steal a few extra wins. Otherwise, 5–12 is a realistic expectation, with the franchise aiming to make a bigger leap in 2027.

Quick Analysis

✅ Strengths

✓

Four of the last five games are at home.

✓

Bye comes late (Week 14), which can help for a playoff push.

✓

Only one East Coast road trip after Week 8 (New Orleans).

⚠️ Challenges

!

Brutal NFC West slate with two games each against Seattle, San Francisco, and the Rams.

!

Midseason stretch is difficult: at Rams, vs Broncos, at Cowboys, at Seahawks, vs Rams, at Chiefs.

!

Consecutive road games at the Chargers and 49ers to open the season could make for a slow start.

S³ Schedule Grade
Road Difficulty8/10
Home Advantage7/10
Late-Season Positioning9/10
Overall Schedule7.8/10

The Cardinals have a manageable finish with four home games in their final five contests, but surviving the NFC West gauntlet and the Chiefs/Cowboys road trips will likely determine whether they're a playoff contender in 2026.
