  2. Joe Cordina — This was already supposed to happen. Rescheduling makes sense if the visa issues are resolved. Veteran former world champion with name recognition. S³ Grade: A

  3. Floyd Schofield ('Kid Austin') — Probably the most explosive stylistic matchup. Athletic vs. athletic. Both have knockout power. Huge fight for younger fans. S³ Grade: A

  4. Raymond Muratalla — Excellent technical fight. Top Rank can make it easily. High boxing quality, though perhaps not as commercially attractive as the top three. S³ Grade: B+

  5. Albert Bell II — The controversial stoppage gives some justification. Bell boxed an outstanding first half of the fight and forced Mason to make adjustments. However, Mason ultimately broke him down with sustained body work and scored two knockdowns before the stoppage. S³ Grade: B

S³ Perspective

After rewatching the Bell fight, I don't think Mason needs the rematch. Bell exceeded expectations early, but Mason showed championship composure by adjusting, investing in the body, and taking over the second half of the fight. The debate is more about the referee's timing than who was winning.

The next step should be a bigger challenge — preferably a unification bout or a clash with another elite young contender.
