The Atlanta Falcons walked into Lambeau Field at 0-2 and walked out with their first win of the season after physically dominating Green Bay, 35-14.
Michael Penix Jr.'s return to the starting lineup didn't begin smoothly. Penix opened 5-of-11 and threw an early interception, helping Green Bay grab an early 7-0 lead.
Then everything changed.
PENIX SETTLES IN
After the 5-of-11 start, Penix was nearly perfect:
13-of-14 the rest of the game — 92.9%.
He finished:

Even more impressive, Green Bay didn't sack him once.
Penix didn't allow the interception to snowball. He settled into the offense, took what Green Bay gave him and started connecting downfield.
And once that happened, Atlanta unleashed Bijan.

This was a takeover.

Green Bay entered the night with one of the NFL's better run defenses.
Atlanta ran for 242 yards anyway.
Brian Robinson Jr. added 50 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, giving Atlanta two backs who consistently punished Green Bay.
The comparison is brutal:
Atlanta: 242 rushing yards Green Bay: 17 rushing yards
That's not just winning the ground game.
That's erasing the opponent's ground game while imposing yours.
DRAKE LONDON EXPLODES
Bijan wasn't Atlanta's only 194-yard performer.

London caught nine of his ten targets and produced a 68-yard reception.
Think about that combination:
Bijan Robinson — 194 rushing yards Drake London — 194 receiving yards
Green Bay had to deal with an elite running performance while simultaneously getting shredded vertically.
That's how Atlanta reached 498 total yards and 7.5 yards per play.
ATLANTA WON THE GAME ITS WAY
The numbers tell the story:
498-328 total yards. 242-17 rushing yards. 25-18 first downs. 6-of-10 on third down. 37:05 time of possession. 4-of-5 in the red zone.
Green Bay became completely one-dimensional. Jordan Love threw 53 passes while the Packers attempted only nine runs.
Love finished with 312 yards and two touchdowns, but it required 53 attempts. Green Bay averaged only 5.2 yards per play compared with Atlanta's 7.5.
And after Christian Watson's touchdown gave Green Bay a 7-0 lead, Atlanta answered with a 35-7 run to finish the game.
